I have the beta of Windows 7 and can not afford the DVD-ROM drive! I have a 4G USB flash drive, and it is a miracle if you can use the files to an ISO and boot from them? Also, how do I get the ISO flash drive, what can I use? I can just drag and drop in and try to start?

You can not boot from an ISO file. It is a compressed file with everything crammed into one file. So your computer would be unable to read the file(s) it needs to boot.

Most burner software will allow you to take an ISO file and expand it into a directory (such as one your USB drive) instead of on to a DVD. You then “MAY” be able to use that drive to boot and install Windows 7.

Assuming that your computer is one that is able to boot from a USB device. Not all computers can. Check the boot order in your computer’s BIOS, and if you can, set the USB as the first boot device.
