Firefly is well built and the size makes it very convenient. Is never a failure, Firefly drives. Writing speed is good, 7 4 MB / s (5 GB and 11 minutes), but not as fast as the newer HP (PNY) at 9 stations 8MB/sec.
Buy one (or two!) You will not be disappointed.

Firefly drive away is the best of all choices there. It fits on your key ring “clicks” firmly into place. I’ve never had a failure. Can not drive to push out and cause damage to the USB port, as a hit or stepped on. I do not know why everyone does not drive enclosure tothis type move.

I bought a 16GB JumpDrive Firefly to replace my 2GB version. The station is small enough to keep a keychain and even delicate appearance, a keychain clip is pretty strong. I actually use the clip in my 2GB Firefly my 16GB.
Transfer speeds are fast, but not great.
Formatted capacity is less than 15GB.
I want to buy this product again, except that when it is time to replace it, a larger version is more than likely available.

Fireflys past, however, was a terrible speed issues. Awful. As far as I know still small sizes (such as 1GB) I do not. However, hope springs eternal.
Just got a 16GB FireFly. I am very impressed. I wrote a 5 GB (not MB, GB) in about 25 minutes. It is really fast. I’m impressed. Lexar really that right.
