Gaz Rendar says:
JumpDrive Secure II Plus is a lot of nice features, but I had some problems with the first.
Software If you connect the disk to the computer, nothing will really happen – it is not auto load any software. As with any USB stick you can simply drag and drop files. However, if you want to use security features, a few folders to dig through a double SecureII program. It takes a few seconds, and download the program to secure your taskbar for easy access. The program window is small, and you can encrypt files individually, or create password-protected Vaults (folders) and save a number of sensitive files. When you create a new Vault (this may take several minutes for a large scale), you need a password and then install it as separate virtual drive in My Computer. This new position of the combined files can be dragged, and automatically encrypted. Exit the program “log out” and unmount the virtual drives to the USB memory stick can be removed. The interface is quite simple. You can also delete files when you make them using the program window. The software is part of a USB memory stick, so it’s always what you try to the data to a computer.
HARDWARE actual device feels solid. Cap remains strong and has a small hole in the ground, as if to feed the rope through the lanyard (not included). The LED display is a nice touch out to keep track how much space to travel, but it is not really necessary to display and takes only one years warranty. Note that when using a 4GB Vault, but the tax 1GB of data there will still appear as if the 4GB is used as the Vault “tank” to a physical space 4GB USB stick to take. But the extra 3GB free space is still available if your password and install the drive.
Problems / Defects
I had a few problems with JumpDrive Secure II Plus. First, the “working” with Vista, but I had complications. When I bought my phone, I was able to use it as a normal USB drag and drop files, and I was able to encrypt individual files. I am not able to create password protected because the Vault software told me to be logged on as administrator. I was logged on as administrator, and Vista Home Premium and Vista Business computers and it does not. I was planning to return to drive, but I tried it in Windows XP Pro machine for the first time. Here, at last I had the opportunity to create a safe. If this is the first password-protected Vault was made, I could back to my Vista computer, type the password to, and drag the files in it. Furthermore, I now Vaults my new Vista computer and the device to be used as originally intended. I have no idea why this is so, but it was very annoying.
Another thing should be noted that the JumpDrive Secure II uses the FAT32 file system, because it forms the partitions, and therefore only Vaults are created in 32MB to 4GB sizes. You can create multiple vaults is to run, but they have all the proportions. Not much of the circuit-breaker for me, because I can not distinguish the files, but it would be nice to get everything in one folder in Vault.
SUMMARY already after the first problems JumpDrive Secure II Plus, I want to make a relatively low cost. Many other password-protect the USB drives cost more per GB. I do not know if my problem with Vista is a unique, or if the Vista machine the same problems, but caution must be taken to prevent and 5-star rating.

Good to drive, but some of the things I would like to see change. I did not particularly care for emission caps portable jump drives. I have excluded placing it in my keychain to lose would lose the status of the software (which is essentially what you pay). The fact that encryption software can not copy and use the computer to have a big crash. Does what it says, but I would rather I put money on self-encryption software.

Great product, can not expect a larger version of the T, which supports HTFS Mac format instead of FAT16

The JumpDrive started well, then a few months after my computer would not boot is on, if I unplugged USB connection before you press the Start button. I checked the Lexar and driver updates. It is a kind of safety feature that can not be wiped off Jump Drive.
It scans e-set (the number one rated anti-virus programs, Consumer Reports), and Ad-Aware no defects in flash drive.
Another flash drives (and the SanDisk Cruzer Micro Advantage) works well. I’m not going to buy another 16 GB Lexar JumpDrive.
