I’m a photographer, who bought the 16 gig Lexar UDMA card is my new Canon 5D Mark II. I had the opportunity to map to different tasks, and spot news used during the Stanford Financial meltdown.

Card is perfect, not bogging down the hint of corruption or the image no matter how fast I shoot. This is partly due to the camera, of course, but the write speed of Lexar considered when the shooting as a massive 21-megapixel photos and High Definition video. I also appreciate the fact that you can download the Lexar “Image Rescue 3″ for free when you buy the card.

Do not waste your money if you have an older version or a used prosumer “cameras, they are likely to perform at the same time card to pay half the price. Lexar was designed by Bad Boy pricey high-end pro cameras.

  2. David L. Staples says:

I usually like Kingston Ultimate 266x card the same 16GB capacity control, and I use the high-speed cards, unlike the 133x class in order to preserve as much shooting as quickly as possible without stopping to fill the buffer. This Lexar card works well, because Lexar for me, and never had problems with data corruption or formatting quirks. I gave it four stars instead of five only because the costs are so much more than the Kingston Ultimate, but I can not understand the differences in performance, even 300x more important than the speed of 266x. Undoubtedly Lexar product involved in the “name-recognition of the payment” because of loyalty to the professional shooter. * * I can say that it is certainly better than the 133x-class card to a long burst shots to accept my Canon 5D.

I bought this card uses a Canon 5D Mark II, which not only more space for large images to save, but also consistently fast write speed of the video.

If like me, you press the name-brand card as Lexar vs. cheap alternative. All other characters are available for less than half the price of this card. However, this price is not the only premium brand – this card is really working. With UDMA support (any device that can read / write the CF card works on this card, but the devices that support UDMA does it faster), and the camera, I see a big difference between this card and even the pro level My parents’ of the CF cards. < , br />
compared with the older Pro-Am card with 100x – 133x write speed, this card (rated 300x) really is about 3 times faster. Compared with a few cheap cards that claim to be 100-133x, this card is 6 times faster.

It is too early to give up the reliability of the rating of a card – but because the card will meet the requirements of speed, I am ready to bet my beat pictures and videos on their reliability. And that is exactly what you probably do!

This card does me great results. . . if in my car I do not like the camera (Nikon D700 and ready to quickly post multiple shots … had a few good shots just to have someone with a camera and image …
< br /> High transfer rate .. no complaints

extended to use in the next 50 in a few days en route from Canada Baham …

  5. Mike says:

The UDMA card is very fast transfer rates for my use. I clip in my Canon D5 images in full resolution raw images and all three have written a few seconds. And when I move this card to your computer’s FireWire 800 card reader, ends at a fraction of the other cards. It is much more expensive than I’m used to pay for CF cards, but the savings in time, it is worthwhile for me.
