Umm I use an external DVD drive on your computer, coz it does not have to be built, it is used for the gr8 work, but I did it again, like a year or so coz I have a laptop DVD drive built-WID but I dont like it when my laptop is warmer lotta playin sims2 fun so I decided to return to the old way, that’s a PC, but my DVD drive does not seem to work o. I ram Sony NEC 4571A DVD-ND and Firewire / USB external enclosure. The box is branded Mentor ME525UFII USB / FireWire IDE adapter is bassed PL-3507 chip. Since my laptop only USB suport I have to get it to work Firewire.Tässä thing is when I use the USB connection, no problem with recognizing the IDE drive adapter and straghtaway. However, when I use Firewire, it only recognizes the drive appears in My Computer, the basic functionality of the CD-ROM. Any ideas? Help grately apreciated. . . .
